Adding New Pictures To My Sitting Room Gallery Wall

Back in April I introduced you to my Instagram inspired gallery wall in our sitting room. Our Victorian nest continues to be a work in progress — it’s actually our second anniversary here as I write. Since I last posted we have a fab, new velvet sofa and stool ( that I’m using as a coffee table) and THOSE infamous Aldi side tables.

I’m so happy about my latest finds from a bijou, online shop called Tin Design based in Leigh-on-Sea. I purchased one of their Frida prints. I love anything Kahlo inspired. See my cushion on the sofa. As I was checking out I noticed something I had to have .. Queen Victoria at her finest. I don’t know what it is but since we’ve moved here I’m drawn to Victoriana and I like  adding tiny touches in homage.

I’m still in love with my Pets Rock Queen Vic cushion I bought last year. We don’t even have a dog let alone a Boston Terrier. Actually, we did have a dog until March .. Bruno. Sadly, he passed away from old age. He had a grand life, bless him.

I framed the prints from Tin Design really easily.

The frames I got from Next.

There is still room on my wall, though, so I’m thinking about my next additions.

I love everything by Nickie Kelly but these lips are my current favourite.

I’ve found another website called Desenio and I love everything they have, too but particularly this Monstera print. Probably, because I’m trying to grow a tiny fledgling Monstera myself and I’d like it to grow big and strong like this.

The great thing about Desenio is that you can also opt to have your print framed. I might do this but I’ll definitely work out if it’s worth it first.

I can’t get enough of my gallery wall and there isn’t a nail in sight, either.

Clever Mr Bbed has been hanging everything with these Command strips. Oh my, where have they been all my life? They are sooo good.

I know you can see them slightly on the angle I’ve taken photo  above but honestly IRL you do not notice them. After all the decorating Mr Bbed has done since we moved in the thought of me hanging all these prints with nails and the like sent him into a cold sweat. He was very relieved when he found the strips and that they actually work!

What is your interior obsession? I’d love to hear in the comments 🙂

Your gallery wall looks fab and you’ve got a nice mix of art in it. Glad you’ve discovered Command Strips – so much easier than having to nail everything!
